Welcome to Trewoofe Orchard

Trewoofe Orchard is a pretty 4-bed-roomed house, built in 1912 in the 'Lamorna' style. It was built for philosopher Alfred Sidgwick and his authoress wife Cecily, and was reputedly a popular partying venue for the fun-loving and free-spirited members of the Lamorna School of Artists in the early 20th century.

Barbara and Dick hope that some of that spirit survives today and are delighted to share their lovely home and gardens with those seeking peace and tranquillity for a few days.
